Craig Brown – President
Under Craig’s leadership, AudiTec has become a fast-growing, innovative company in an industry that has changed little over the past decades. Founding AudiTec in 2002, Craig sought to change many of the negatives he identified from years of experience in the recovery audit business. The result was an audit model that is more thorough, and provides a more pleasant experience for the client.
Craig has grown AudiTec into one of the top, full-scale recovery audit firms in the country. Craig manages and staffs all of AudiTec’s audits, and has put together one of the best, most experienced audit teams in the industry. Craig’s creative management and audit style has allowed AudiTec to grow every clients’ audit to date who has come to us from another firm.
Prior to founding AudiTec, Craig worked with Howard Schultz & Associates, where he was the Managing Partner for JCPenney for 6 years. Craig later was promoted to the VP of Data Operations for the Commercial Audit Group and later worked as a managing partner for Wal-Mart where he audited duplicate payments, vendor allowances and statements.
Cory Chandler – Executive Vice President, National Accounts
Cory is responsible for AudiTec’s national business development, marketing strategy and client development. Co-founding AudiTec in 2002, Cory brings more than 20 years of experience in sales strategy and managing Fortune 500 clients.
Cory has successfully positioned AudiTec as one of the premier recovery audit firms in the country and has continually increased AudiTec’s national market share. His hands-on client approach has resulted in strong, strategic client relationships and AudiTec’s superb client retention rate.
Prior to founding AudiTec, Cory was with First Data’s National Account Group, selling and servicing big box retailers. In addition to the recovery audit industry, his background includes wholesale distribution, consumer goods manufacturing and retail operations.
Jerry Brown – Executive Vice President and Controller
Jerry began working in the Accounts Payable Auditing profession in 1985 as a field auditor for Howard Schultz & Associates. His clients at that time were Montgomery Wards, Safeway Stores and many other retailers in the home improvement business. In 1990 he was promoted to Regional Vice President for Howard Schultz and was in charge of all audits in the western 25% of the country. Audits under his direct supervision were JC Penney, Albertson’s, American Stores, Long’s Drug and many other grocery and retail clients. He performed these duties until HS&A was sold to PRG in 2002. In the 22 years prior to 1985 he held several positions with TG&Y Stores Company in Oklahoma City. When he left there to join HS&A he held the position of Treasurer for this billion-dollar corporation.
